Inspirational Life Journey of Manveer Kaur Anand
What does not kill you makes you only stronger. The saying perfectly suits Manveer Kaur Anand as her journey is one of resilience, growth, and purpose.
Born in Ranchi into a values-driven, middle-class family, Manveer was raised with a strong foundation of discipline, independence, and empathy. Her father worked at MECON, and her mother, a Vice Principal, instilled in her the belief that character matters more than marks. Though not academically exceptional, Manveer possessed emotional intelligence, strong communication skills, and a quiet determination to carve her own path but was also contribute to society.
In 2000, she moved to Bangalore to pursue a degree in Pharmacy. This marked the beginning of her independence and professional journey. She secured a placement with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and built a successful career in Sales and Marketing. Over time, she evolved into multiple roles, including Scientific Business Officer, Sales Trainer, Operations Head, and Corporate Trainer—demonstrating adaptability and leadership.
Her personal life brought both joy and hardship. After marriage in 2008 and the birth of her son in 2009, she faced a painful separation. Relocating to Delhi, she rebuilt her life from scratch while navigating emotional struggles, financial responsibilities, and time away from her child. Instead of breaking, she discovered her empathetic side—and tried helping others. She began counselling informally and later pursued a Master’s in Psychology to deepen her understanding of human emotions.
Family responsibilities soon called her back to Ranchi, where she cared for her aging parents. The loss of her father during COVID in 2020, followed by her mother’s passing in 2023, tested her strength deeply. Yet, through grief and responsibility, she continued to grow stronger, more resilient yet remain humble.
During this time, she found her true purpose as a school counsellor. Working with children, she recognized their emotional struggles—fear, pressure, loneliness, and identity confusion. She became a safe space for them, offering empathy, acceptance, and guidance. Her work emphasized a simple truth: children need understanding more than perfection.
Today, Manveer stands as a compassionate counsellor, trained psychology professional, mentor, educator, and resilient individual. Her life reflects the power of perseverance, empathy, and self-belief.
Her journey reminds us that even after loss and setbacks, one can rebuild life—stronger, wiser, and more purposeful.
